Q2 2024 Performance of Top Pirate Games on iOS in the US

Ahoy, gaming aficionados! The second quarter of 2024 has been a treasure trove of activity for pirate-themed games on iOS in the US. Sensor Tower's data brings us the latest insights into the performance of these seafaring apps.

Sea of Conquest: Pirate War, launched by FunPlus International AG, navigated through Q2 with varying success. Revenue fluctuated, peaking at nearly $600K in mid-April before dipping to around $300K by the end of June. Downloads saw a significant decrease from 121K in early April to just 45K by late June, while weekly active users dwindled from 240K to 172K over the same period.

Go Go Magnet!, a title from French publisher Oh BiBi, showed a modest presence in the market. The game's revenue appeared later in the quarter, starting at $35K and surging to $115K by mid-June. However, downloads were nearly non-existent, with a mere 1K at the beginning and end of the quarter.

SayGames LTD's Pirate Raid: Caribbean Battle hoisted its revenue from $29K to $54K mid-quarter, but then dropped anchor to a low of $14K by the end of June. Downloads remained relatively steady, ranging from 26K to 21K. Weekly active users started at 50K, dipped to 10K, and climbed back up to 34K in the final week of June.

Playtika LTD's Pirate Kings™ sailed a consistent course with revenues bobbing between $11K and $24K throughout the quarter. Unfortunately, there was no data on downloads and active users for this veteran of the pirate game fleet.

Lastly, Pirate Tales from Crazy Panda Limited saw its revenue ebb and flow, starting and ending the quarter at $11K and $17K, respectively. Like Pirate Kings™, Pirate Tales did not have data available for downloads or weekly active users.
